These are the daily and weekly chores for each of the kids as of May 2012.

Everyone will be expected to show courtesy and respect towards everyone else in the family.  Failure to do so can result in loss of privileged time such as reading or computer or i-pod.

Further, all are expected to complete any additional chores without showing attitude or ignorance, and the chore will be completed fully and accurately.  Responses such as cited below will be grounds for losing your privileges:

8 May 2012 – Jordan forgot to take the rubbish bins to the curb.

8 May 2012 – Boys’ bedroom was left a mess on this morning.

8 May 2012 – Dylan was asked about why there was laundry strewn all over the garden from yesterday after he and Jordan was asked to bring the laundry in.  His response was, “We were only asked to bring in the laundry from on the line.”

7 May 2012 – Both boys asked to make their lunches for school in the morning, Dylan was observed making his lunch the next morning, despite having gone into the kitchen supposedly making his lunch at the time requested.

7 May 2012 – Dylan did not do the washing up in the evening.

7 May 2012 – Jordan had to be reminded that his morning chores require that he tops up fully all of the water for all of the animals because it is a desert and it gets hot and dangerous for them if they are left low or out of water.
