Kelsey, my friend. It’s so good to hear you! Somehow I missed that you had a blog. Maybe Dylan just isn’t a home schooler? I home schooled Kolby for a semester–it was actually online public school–and I learned then that I can’t home school him because it causes too much conflict. Kolby is lazy too. He asks me to home school him again, but I won’t.
On that note, when you come back to America, there is online public school that is really pretty cool. It’s available in most states, but not all, and it’s totally free. The curriculum is great, and all given to you, along with the books, so you don’t really have to plan lessons on your own.
I hope everything works out with the visas. Patience may be a virtue here. 🙂 We are having our own interesting situation. We are about to move from Boston to Texas, pulling our “house” we just purchased–a 32 foot long camper trailer. I never thought I would be a gypsy woman, but guess what–it means we will have our own space, that we own free and clear, along with the truck to pull it. That kind of security is feeling pretty good to me right now, no matter how small the space is. That will help in the transition, since we are going out there with no jobs (besides my online teaching job).
Life is a grand adventure…..I think when your time is done over in England, the way will open up for you and you will find yourself moving along to the next phase…..
I am so tired of living on hold. Will be so excited for any phase to open up! If you guys want to visit us in Nevada, just pull your rig on into the driveway! There is plenty of room! My grandma would be thrilled to see you!
