So, before I start off with today’s news, I have got to say, the past little while, getting to know Autumn, has been absolutely lovely. I have really enjoyed all the chatting back and forth, and the talking when we have been able to. Feels like a real friend, and I am so glad to have my children all together in one. She has talked about coming out to see us here. I really hope for that! I cannot afford to haul off her way, and for that, I am sad. But we are sure happy to have her come and stay a spell with us! There are lots of people for her to meet here!
So, the day before yesterday I was driving and fell asleep at the wheel. Yesterday it happened three times. It wanted to do a fourth on the way home. I slept hard and woke up hard those days, and for two days or so before that. There are all kinds of symptoms I have that could be associated with it. I wonder which ones will clear up?
As for now, my neck hurts. Shoulders, too. But the focus of where things hurt, though the entire upper part of my body is, is defining on the neck. Psychological? Perhaps. I ate well, and that seemed to help a bit. But it wears off faster than I hope for. The medical info online suggests this can take up to eight years to develop out. It seems mine is being much more expedient. It has gotten bad over days. But I have had other symptoms earlier on that are probably from the same, and I would never have guessed it was something like this.
Man, I must be thick as pig shit. I am slow to figure out what is wrong with me when it is. This feels fast, but then when I read the indicators, I have things that may well have signaled a long time ago, including bone pain. Is everything related? I don’t know. But yes, this one is a bit of pain in the neck, mostly.
Well, anyway, enough about all that.
I got the Honda working a couple of days ago! We have driven it. The damned tires still make a hell of a noise. I hate it. I wish I could pick up a second set of wheels from the junkyard and set them up with quiet summer tires for the road, then put the winter tires on when needed. I have the tools to make that an easy job. Otherwise, it seems to be running just fine at the moment. He says while waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I needed to get the Nissan on Jacks, but today and tomorrow are proving not to be the days for that. It needs the axles replaced. Then it will need an alignment. Then it will hopefully run a lot better. The Nissan and the Honda both need power steering fluid. The Nissan probably needs transmission fluid. Both need a brake fluid check. I recently did the oil on the Nissan. The Honda needs the gas burned through and a new tank to clean out any water in the current one. All stuff to do.
I am starting to feel pretty tired again, and I am going to go rest. See you, dear reader, on the other side of the Moon.
